Xmas Day

Anyone who knows me personally will know why today is the logical day to start this blog, based on it’s title. If you don’t know, then have a guess 🙂
As my wife did not have any extra holidays, we travelled down to Albury to my mother’s place for a quick 4 day visit. The trip down on Saturday 23rd took 8 hours, mainly due to delays that will be explained later. Coming back on the 26th only took 7 hours. Of course on Xmas day we ate too much, and this was on top of the huge amount that we ate and drank the previous day at the Brown Brothers Winery’s excellent restaurant at Milawa (highly recommended!!!), where we met some friends from Melbourne. You will be able to see photos of the delicious dishes we ate on the “Seashell22” blog page soon …
