Who is the most popular artist ?

It is interesting to look back at the statistics, and see which search terms have brought readers to this blog in the last two & a bit years …
Way on top of the list are ‘Namie Amuro’ & ‘Sowelu’, with 3,280 & 3,099 searches respectively using various forms of their names. Reviews of Namie’s ‘Play’ album at 6.013 & Sowleu’s ‘Shiawase no Chikaru’ single at 4,544 have also topped the page view counts. However hitomi’s ‘peace’ album is still the most popular post with 9,581 page views !!!
The full listof the search terms include the following Top Five artists …
- 3,280 – Namie Amuro
- 3,099 – Sowelu
- 1,666 – Hitomi Shimatani
- 1,537 – Kumi Koda
- 1,446 – Mika Nakashima
Further down the list, with totals in the hundreds are Ayumi Hamasaki, hitomi, Mink, Ami Suzuki, Aya Ueto, Hiraku Utada, MISIA, melody. & Zard.
Strangely enough, many searchers are expecting to see these artists ‘naked’ or ‘nude’ 🙂

Yes they ARE hot Gordon, but if you read the post properly, it says “search terms have brought readers to this blog”. Obviously Foxxi misQ have not been mentioned in the blog or searched for by as many people as those that were at the top of the list 🙄
