Windows 7 Whopper

There were complaints about Burger King/Hungry Jacks ‘Triple’ & ‘Quad’ Whoppers, but this is ridiculous …

“This week, Microsoft launched it’s new operating system “Windows 7” in Japan. As a promotional move, Microsoft joined with Burger King and created the “Windows 7 WHOPPER”

The “Windows 7 WHOPPER” is 12cm high, weighs 950g and has 7 patties in it!

This special Whopper is available for only 7 days for ¥1,450 (around A$16). But the first 30 customers of the day can purchase it for ¥777.

Two of my co-workers tried these out. One gave up on his second patty but the other one finished it. Though he admits that his stomach was close to exploding and was about to throw up several times during his challenge.

He said he felt very satisfied afterwards but does not want to go anywhere near a hamburger nor even see anyone eating a hamburger for awhile.

The sad thing is, he found out later that day that the campaign which was planned to end in 7 days was going to be extended because of the good sales. There was no need for him to rush and challenge himself.”
