Australia 5 – England 0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by redracer on January 5, 2007

England are now all out for 147 in their 2nd innings and with their first of 291, Australia only need 46 to add to their 393 to win the match, the series and the Ashes (actually long accounted for weeks ago!!!). Glenn McGrath, in his last Test, was able to get the last wicket to finish on 563, and also make his and Shane Warne’s combined Test total a magnificent 1001. Warne also managed to get 71 in his last innings (more than 3 of the English batters combined), and finishes his career with the dubious statistic of having made the most runs without ever getting a century (his highest innings was 99 !!). McGrath’s dubious record is getting the most Test ducks😳

Justin Langer is about to come out and bat, also his last Test, and hopefully to hit the winning runs before lunch on the 4th day😀

With all the days off the England created by not finishing some of the Tests, maybe next time they will send out a professional team, instead of these holiday-taking clowns🙄

Maybe they can spend the rest of their careers playing Tonkapom😆 (BTW my record is 809 off a bouncer !!!)

    Yo it’s Chris from tafe.

McGrath got the record for most ducks for an Australian but is second over all. But then Warne most runs without a century and was 1 duck behind McGrath.

I’ve been mostly bed ridden since mid December recovering from surgery, so I’ve caught most of the Ashes. It was a very entertaining series on one hand but also very disappointing on the other. Australia played amazingly but England while they had their moments over all they were a joke.
