Hitomi Shimatani returns to musicals

She is starring as Anne Shirley in her 2nd musical – ‘Anne of Green Gables’ …
Commencing last week in Sapporo, Hitomi plays the starring role of Anne Shirley in a tour of 11 performances in 8 cities of the popular musical ‘Anne of Green Gables’.

Her first musical was a Japanese show in 2004, and with her ‘pop’ music career not going ahead in leaps and bounds, maybe this could be a successful change of direction for her. She certainly looks as supremely attractive as ever with the red hair, rosey cheeks and painted freckles
