What a shamble the England team have proven themselves to be !!! With nothing now to play for except their pride, they start edthe 4th Test by batting when even blind Freddy could see that they should have been bowling – luckily the captain redeemed himself initially with a couple of early wickets. However their miserable innings was not even as much in total as that of ONE of the Australian BOWLERS !!! Congratulations to Andrew Symonds (the one that likes to look a little like a Golliwog – except that is now probably not a politically correct term to utter) for not only getting his first century (and then 150), but also for out-batting the whole England team :-) Once again, the English captain’s decisions must be questioned, as the field placements were like the dog’s breakfast – and then they left a copy of their bowling plan on the floor of a Melbourne pub for all the world to see. Apparently the plans weren’t too bad – it’s just a shame they never put them into action !!!

And of course the most congratulations must go to Shane Warne on the first day for getting his recording breaking 700th wicket in front of a near record crowd of adoring fans at his home ground, the M.C.G. – and it was one of his best tricky bouncing balls too !!! But not content to rest there, he then went on to snare another 4 wickets :-)
